Brian the Movie

Delay

Brian's Trip has been delayed until tomorrow morning. Turns out when its above 80 degrees (that's 26 2/3 C for you wacky foreigners) like it was last week the snow melts; and fast. Uprooted trees are getting flushed down the Gallatin River (one of the three that make up the Missouri). Brian wants to wait a day for the river to be below flood stage. Some nonsense about not wanting to die. I think he just cant stand to leave Butte.

Brian: Like Lewis and Clark, but smart enough to go with the current.

Brian's Adventures

My friend Brian has arrived. He biked from his place in South Dakota to about Bozeman into a stiff headwind. He finally gave out and took the bus. He is eager to get started on the next leg of his adventure. Kayaking the Missouri. Which is borderline nuts, but all the same I do have a slight twinge of jealousy. On Tuesday morning he casts of from Headwaters State Park just outside of Three Forks Montana.
