It would seem that the manufacturer of this low-end frozen pepperoni pizza (Schwans) has managed to discover an important number... The number 7. You see the number 7 is the exact minimum number of pepperoni needed to call a frozen cheeze pizza a frozen pepperoni pizza. Any less than seven and it becomes unclear whether each piece will have a pepperoni on it. Though in Schwans defense the best eating method mandates that the pizza be cut in only 2 pieces, which are then folded over in sort of a taco configuration.
The persnickety amongst you probably think that that I misspelled "cheese" in the prior paragraph. I did not. I spelled it with a 'z' because I figure if Schwans wants to use nonstandard cheese ingredients (such as: modified food starch, potassium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium aluminum phosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, tri-calcium phosphate, magnesium oxide, ferric orthophosphate, cyancobalamin pyridoxine hydrochloride, and others that choke my spell checker) then I can spell cheese with nonstandard cheese letters like 'z' or perhaps even 'qu'. A big fat slice of queeze, anyone?
One final note. This Schwans frozen pepperoni pizza (sold under the name "Tony's) uses in its marketing the trademarked phrase "Tastes Like Fun". I will leave it as an exercise for the reader to think of something fun that is also tasty. Chances are if you think of one its probably not an activity that is appropriate to be put on a pizza box.

I'm making a habit of eating at Duane's Sausage and Specialties. In fact, I just got back from there. I recommend you try it.
Duane's is relatively new. It's located where Spagatini's used to be at 26 North Main. (I would give you a link to a map but Google, Yahoo, and Mapquest all suck and put it in Walkerville.) I tend to eat lunch there on Saturday because it's immediately adjacent to the Farmer's Market. Oh, And it's utterly delightful.
The big thing at Duane's is high quality meat, specifically buffalo. I've devoured a few buffalo burgers and highly recommend them. I've also dined on the grilled pork loin sandwich, also excellent. Duane's also carries premade subs, deli stuff, and preservative free turnovers made by the Amish. (I'm saving my last one for this evening)
Duane also sells frozen meat like a good butcher shop. This week I'll be eating some ground buffalo dishes. I also recommend the pancetta wrapped buffalo filet mignon. That was awesome.
Duane's is a family-run locally owned business, so you can feel good about frequenting it.
The store front doesn't represent the business very well. It would be easy to walk right by it. But that's OK, it makes it our little secret. The front of Duane's Sausage and Specialties is full of brick-a-brack. Just ignore all that and walk towards the back were the good eating awaits.
The following is a list of all the specials for the rest of SeptemberOrder ahead at 406-782-3030. You know you want to.

Rocky crapped three times and pissed 4 times outside yesterday. Cleaned out the office some. Still no sign of my wallet. Did Robert's job yesterday morning, while he recovered from taking Christina and Keri to SLC. His job sucks.
I thought I might have some time to work on code yesterday but it didn't materialize until 4 or so. By then all I had left in me was a quick go at Roller Coaster Tycoon. Lazyness. I actually did use the time to clean for the most part. I started "The Art of War" audiobook. I will need to re-listen to portions of it. it's a complex text. Mortgager has gotten the Granite Street loan underwritten with 85% financing. I guess they are arguing over rate. Hoping for Monday and 4:00 but I'm feeling 50/50. I let our real estate agent know. They need to see 36,000 in an account and my rent checks for aug and sept. I handled the 36K but the checks are on order. This means that we should sign on Monday but the loan wont get funded until later when the checks arrive. Dumb. The real estate agent is afraid we cant get the extension so its either Monday or nothing on this Granite street place. There is a backup offer and the owner is getting nervous. Ate pie for brunch, wanted more this morning but it's all gone. May need to liberate more from the Washington fridge.
Had some burger thing with Joes (fried potato wedges) for lunch. It was kinda ganky looking and I didn't have time to eat it until it was cold. Wasn't as bad as it looked.
One of our best post-prerealse crewmen needs to squash his appeal or risk additional jail time. I saw him yesterday morning about 10am and then not again. He said he'd be at work by twelve but as late as 1 he still wasn't. I'm hoping he is ok. Keeley is worried this morning about Craig who has a nasty swollen welt than is moving around his face. I guess he has some swollen lymph nodes as well. He called the hospital and they said wait another day. This is a result of last weekends hike to some mosquito-infested lake.
Robert has lead poisoning. Perhaps from here but possibly from his prior machining job. He was working with "leadloy". Might explain a few things. I'm going to get tested. I was in the same high-risk room for a good long time. I hope I have it too. Then it means that I might get smarter as it gets out of my system.
Some of our loser tenants are more and more suspicious. We suspect they, like the guy next door are dealing meth. We aren't sure how to proceed. At this point I would almost prefer to roll the dice and just call the police.
