Keeley Starts

It would appear Keeley is coming tomorrow. I have tons for her but not sure if I have the time to get her started. I'll go over the rental agreement with her and then have her tag along with our BSB property walk through and our inspection of the 505 S. Idaho.

Here is a video of Idaho when we did our walk through. A note of warning its a 43K download.

Dog Pee

I read the book on dog piss training last night. I'm going to use the word Sheist (German command for "shit") for park time. I did take Rocky over to Washington last night. No accidents but I'm already breaking my own schedule. Tomorrow will be a crazy day, Keeley should be moving in soon and I have a resceduled date with Girl Bartender (crossed fingers); making now a horrible time to try this complex dog schedule. The book said that a "den" is important. I'm going to get a kiddy stairway guard playpen thing for my mezzanine office (have one for the Washington place already.)

I've lost my stylus for the ipaq and my check to the CA State Franchise Board bounced. Huzzah!

Today is a day off but I'm in the office anyway because I'm so far behind. I'll putter about and listen to the BBC streaming broadcast, call Girl Bartender at noon and knock off about 1500 to go straiten up my house on the off chance she wants a night cap.

Introspective Sissy

I purchased a mess of books. Mostly accounting, econ, dog training, and some audio books on history. I also got Full Metal Jacket and the book of Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (hopefully not the bastardized movie version).

Feeling some stress today so I've rethought my scheduling. I hope to start farming some tasks out to Keeley but I may well go farther. Now that I've moved to the Washington Street it should be easier to work more standard hours. I'm going to put in 8 hours a day (9-5) on SBP and two to three for SBS (5-dinner). On weekends I'll play catch up but nothing more. This is my new plan in brief. Though if I know me it won't make it though tomorrow.

Time for a hobby I think. Perhaps art? Writing a novel? The apocalypse preparedness program says I should load ammo. Keeley, our friend and new admin, promised to teach me to pay guitar. I'm debating taking Rocky with me tonight (first night at Washington). It might be more trouble than its worth but hopefully he will do his thing in the backyard and make the place feel less empty.

My pants seem loose but yet I feel fatter. Might be time for an exercise routine. I've found myself short of breath. Jogging is hard on my knee. Might require a rowing machine. Perhaps I should bite my shy bullet and join the gym and get my swim on.

Girl Bartender

So a bit ago I asked this young lady out. She works at a near by bar. She was bemoaning the immature selection of men. "Oh if only i could find someone serious", and all that. So I said "When should I pick you up." Oh yes, I got the crazy game. Robert almost laughed himself off his stool. Good times had by all.

Tragicly though its not good on that front. I left two messages today so I'm sure I've hit my limit. Either she changed her mind or something came up like she decided to stay with her family camping for an extra day. In either case I'm sure I'll see her this week or next.

I'll see if I can tag along with Robert and Christiana for dinner, otherwise I'll give the Deluxe a try. Robert refuses to eat there because he claims it poisons him. I suspect his evening of unchecked beer consumption had more to do with it. In either case the guy has a weak constitution.

Diabetes

I am always thirsty, always peeing (probably because of the always thirsty), often tired, get strange headaches or numbness when I nap, have difficulty focusing, and may be experiencing a degradation on my eyesight. Rocky is chasing rabbits in his dreams again. In any case I don't want to loose a foot. So I'm gona look into it some more and brace myself for a diet a life style change. Perchance it might even be worth a journey to the doctor. But if I do that my premiums will assuredly go up. (if not now then in the future.) Sigh.

Bits and Peices

Had fun camping (even if briefly) with the Yorks (parents of our friend Brandi). Went to the little Joe campground which is to the south in the mountains near Big Hole River. There was the most attractive looking Fly Fishing stream. I'll need to investigate that further.

I didn't do it.

The bank at the other end of the block got robbed. The theif left a bag inside so they had the street blocked for a bit while the bomb robot got here. Turns out it was a bag.

OOOH! A Shiny Fire Engine!

I swear I was with my dog the whole time.

Bowden

How Sweet is this fine gem?

This is the Bowden. It's cool four-plex located between the hospital and the College. You might note some the "minor" repairs it will require. Oh and its an asbestos nightmare. We had an offer in but when the home inspection came back we backed out.

Rocky

We have a stray dog. The guys were feeding it in the alley two days ago and Robert accedently locked it upstairs. His howling woke me up yesterday morning. When I went to let him loose he didn't want to go. So he's on probation for a few days to see if he is going to work out. I've named him Rocky after the kid with elephantitus in the Cher movie "Mask". I'm well aware that makes mea bad person, but it makes me laugh.

N. Washington

We picked up this fine 3 bedroom two-banger on N. Washington.

6% fixed for 30 years. A good deal but it was a giant hassle. National banks clearly aren’t the way to go for financing.

Look How Pretty!

It is green. I love green. But on a house? I dunno. It is quite a choice. You'll also note the "art" affixed to the front. The prior owner was an artist. Art attached to the outside? Again, it is quite a choice. Suffice it to say the neighbors are happy.

S. Idaho

We closed on this 4-plex on South Idaho. The units are shotgun one-bedrooms. That is to say that they don't have proper bedrooms at all.

It has some neat features. The bottom floor units have hardwood. There is a "turrent" half-round on the south side units. Some young coed is going to squeal with girly delight.

The Newspaper Caper

Today I rebuilt this site. And mostly edited together some footage from the initial walk through of the imperial. I've got a few more tweaks and then ya'll can down load it.

In other words I did nothing today.

Some one keeps stealing our newspaper. They leave the Wall Street Journal unscathed and steal the Montana Standard. They nabbed it without fail for about 2 weeks. I talked to someone at the paper and got them to start putting through the mail slot. That worked until today when the Sunday paper, in all its fatness, I guess got stuck; all we found this morning was a mangled bit of corner sticking out of the mail slot. One day I'll wake up early and take the perps photo and find something creative to do with it.
