We bought another property. The idea is to use the rental profits to subsidize construction on the Imperial. We a working on a few such properties.
This is a real crap bucket. The downstairs unit isn't so bad and both units are rented; but the top is kinda a slum and the people are less than stellar citizens.

Robert and I were on the radio. One of the radio stations (three frequencies with different stuff) is trying to raise money to put American Flags on the top of the 12 head frames (left-over historic mining "derricks"). Robert and I donated enough for a flag in the name of Silver Bow Properties, LLC.. They had us come on the air with the DJ (Robin Jordan) and made a big old fuss. Very nice people.

A headframe.

Never mind the murky water.
Sampson has proved too weak to climb stairs. A further issue is his marking habit. It's not practical to house train such an old dog. In anycase he got a night away from the shelter and a bath. I wish him well though I dought that many people go to the pound for an old dog. But then again I went for puppies; and if I had a farm house porch for Sampson to sleep on for ever I'd still have him.

We got some dogs. Robert and Christina had picked out a black lab named Billy Bob. Billy Bob doesn't play well with others. However between his fussiness and the general poor selection I was able to get a seemingly suitable pet.
Samson is a cool dog. However there could be a problem. He is an old dog I hoped to give a final home too. Unfortunately he might be too old to climb the stairs.
