I Live In A Bar. Mom Would Be So Proud.

For the time being I live on the mezzanine in the back of what used to be the "Montana Bar". It's a temporary home. Its fun to live in a 105 year old building and have a loft sorta set up.

BLDC Approves Funding

The Butte Local Development Company (BLDC) has approved our loan for the Imperial rehab. BLDC is a local quasi-government non-profit that gives loans to business who promise to bring in jobs. Yes I promised to make jobs, seven of them over two years.

Damn Crazy Irish

I've never been much of a fan of Saint Patricks Day; and yet now I find myself living in Drunken-Irish-Catholic-Miner Central. The celebration was more or less a frozen street party. The crowd was more or less cheery but that didn't stop them from fighting, throwing beers, hastling the police or smashing windows on shops. Robert has some pictures on the silverbowproperties.blogspot.com blog.

Juiced

The electrical got ran to my mezanine office. I wired the sockets and ran the conduit myself. So if I suddenly stop making entries it might be because I'm dead. Actualy I did some of the electrical for the bathroom and I've yet to kill anyone, so that bods well. Mr. Edwards handled the actual attachment to the curcuit breaker.

Death and Taxes

We recently went to the shelter to snag some kittens. Pest deterrence and all that. I ended up with two cats, Death and Taxes, (Thank you Mr. Franklin). They were at the pound because the old lady that owned them passed on. Here is a short movie of Taxes playing with the paper shredder. And no I don't think its cruel and inhumane. There is no way that cat could get it's paw deep enough into the shredder to get sucked in.

I have Death on my shoulder.

Taxes Being adorable.
