Rocky crapped three times and pissed 4 times outside yesterday. Cleaned out the office some. Still no sign of my wallet. Did Robert's job yesterday morning, while he recovered from taking Christina and Keri to SLC. His job sucks.
I thought I might have some time to work on code yesterday but it didn't materialize until 4 or so. By then all I had left in me was a quick go at Roller Coaster Tycoon. Lazyness. I actually did use the time to clean for the most part. I started "The Art of War" audiobook. I will need to re-listen to portions of it. it's a complex text. Mortgager has gotten the Granite Street loan underwritten with 85% financing. I guess they are arguing over rate. Hoping for Monday and 4:00 but I'm feeling 50/50. I let our real estate agent know. They need to see 36,000 in an account and my rent checks for aug and sept. I handled the 36K but the checks are on order. This means that we should sign on Monday but the loan wont get funded until later when the checks arrive. Dumb. The real estate agent is afraid we cant get the extension so its either Monday or nothing on this Granite street place. There is a backup offer and the owner is getting nervous. Ate pie for brunch, wanted more this morning but it's all gone. May need to liberate more from the Washington fridge.
Had some burger thing with Joes (fried potato wedges) for lunch. It was kinda ganky looking and I didn't have time to eat it until it was cold. Wasn't as bad as it looked.
One of our best post-prerealse crewmen needs to squash his appeal or risk additional jail time. I saw him yesterday morning about 10am and then not again. He said he'd be at work by twelve but as late as 1 he still wasn't. I'm hoping he is ok. Keeley is worried this morning about Craig who has a nasty swollen welt than is moving around his face. I guess he has some swollen lymph nodes as well. He called the hospital and they said wait another day. This is a result of last weekends hike to some mosquito-infested lake.
Robert has lead poisoning. Perhaps from here but possibly from his prior machining job. He was working with "leadloy". Might explain a few things. I'm going to get tested. I was in the same high-risk room for a good long time. I hope I have it too. Then it means that I might get smarter as it gets out of my system.
Some of our loser tenants are more and more suspicious. We suspect they, like the guy next door are dealing meth. We aren't sure how to proceed. At this point I would almost prefer to roll the dice and just call the police.
